I am a 41 year old male, who is in very good general health. I exercise very regularly, eat well, don t smoke, etc. In October my lipids test showed I had an LDL cholesterol count of 160 (high), total non HDL of 188, and HDL of 50. So my doctor wanted me to lower my LDL. I got tested earlier today, and with all my other life style habits (exercise, et al) staying the same, via my diet I lowered my LDL to 130 and non HDL to 141, but my HDL fell to 35!
